Dr Ryoma Inazato

Bilingual: Japanese and English

Dr Ryoma grew up as a Mitcham local graduating from Antonio Park Primary School and Box Hill High School. As an academic, he obtained four degrees including:

- Bachelor of Science

- Doctor of Physiotherapy,

- Doctor of Dental Surgery with Distinction from The University of Melbourne.

- Master of Public Health with Distinction from Flinders University.  

 

During his time, he obtained several academic awards, which includes:

- ACEN Scholarship

- Chancellors commendation 

- Golden Key International Honours

- Australian Dental Association Prize

- Deans Honours list

 

He has worked in healthcare for several years in both public and private through his experience as a physiotherapist thus has extensive experience with patient care, communication, and management. Having worked in both metropolitan and regional Victoria, he enjoys all facets of dentistry with a keen interest in oral surgery. As such, he currently works as part of the oral and maxillofacial surgical team as the oral surgery resident at the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne.

 

Dr Inazato places strong emphasis on patient comfort, communication, and care as he views these are key to successful patient outcomes. As such, he takes time to explain all procedures and treatment options to help tailor treatment to each patient.

 

Outside of dentistry, Dr Inazato enjoys staying active by running, hiking and playing tennis as well as spending time with his family and friends.
